Dear subscribers
Whether this EDDition finds you on your mid-term break or just looking forward to the weekend, we hope you are finding time to relax, rejuvenate and refresh.
It would be trite and disingenuous to suggest EDDi can help with any of those things, but we do hope it is inspiring and interesting - enough to give you a spark of professional energy.

We chose these three articles because they are topical and important.
In turn, they cover the reduction of teacher’s professionalism (are we complicit in deprofessionalising the field?), LGBTQ+ identities in faith schools (can one be queer and religious?) and the tensions in Vietnam’s education system (can imperialism, colonialism, neo-liberalism and globalisation co-exist?).
